Re-registration

If you were NOT able to take your scheduled Praxis exam you will be able to re-register and pay in the next 3 business days for a new appointment. Please note: the retake rule does NOT apply if you have NOT tested, therefore you will be able to register for a date before 28 days.

Score recipients

After you have scheduled and paid for your test, be sure to select your free score recipients up to 3 days before your test date. In order for your Educator Preparation Program to receive your full score details, you MUST add the institution as one of your free score recipients. Selecting an institution as your Educator Preparation Program does not result in your scores being sent. Be sure to select up to 4 free score recipients up to 3 days before your test date by logging into your Praxis account and using the “Select Score Recipients” link. If you wish to send scores after this date, you can order additional score reports for a fee.

Test Day issues/complaints

If you had an issue on test day you will need to submit your complaint in writing to Email: ETS Praxis Customer Support. You will need to include your name, email address, date of birth, test date and candidate ID (if known). Please note: test day issues or complaints cannot be resolved by calling customer service.

Scheduling/Registration

If you are unable to locate a test center in your area, please try searching by zip code rather than city and state then select the search icon (magnifying glass).

• Review state testing requirements.
• Find test centers and dates.
• Get information about taking the Praxis tests at home.
• Learn when you'll get your scores.

Username:

• The username is not your email address.
• The username that was created during the Praxis account creation should be used for Login.
• The username is different from the other ETS product's (SLS/GRE/TOEFL/PPAT etc.) credentials used. It is specifically for Praxis.
• Must be between 6 and 16 characters (letters and/or numbers) and must not contain special characters (@, _,$, #, %)

Forgot Username:

If you do not remember your username correctly, follow the following steps

Step 1: Please click on the "forgot username?" option on the Login page

Step 2: Enter your email id used while creating your praxis account

Step 3: Submit your username request

Step 4: Go to your email and check if you've received an email from noreply@ets.org. Please check your spam folder if you cannot find the email.

Step 5: Follow further instructions mentioned in your email

Important: If you do not find your email or if you are no longer in possession of that email address; please reach out to our customer support. 

Password:

• The password that was created during the account creation should be used for Login. Should have a minimum of:
• 8 characters
• 1 lowercase letter
• 1 uppercase letter
• 1 number
• 1 special character or symbol
• Do not share your password with anyone.

Forgot Password:

If you do not remember your password correctly, follow the below mentioned steps

Step 1: Please click on the "Forgot Password?" option on the Login Page.

Step 2: Enter your username and email Id associated with your Praxis account to reset your password.

Step 3: If you forgot your username, click on the "Forgot Username?" option available there.

Step 4: If the information you provided is correct, you will receive further instructions on your email.

Step 5: Follow the instructions and reset your password.

• Please check the test information details in your Praxis account to ensure you're contacting the correct proctoring service for assistance. If you don't contact the correct proctoring service, you may miss your test start time.
