Take Your Praxis Test at a Test Center Near You

Praxis tests are offered at authorized test centers across the country. You can view available test centers and select your preferred location during the test registration process. Some tests are available year-round, while others follow a seasonal schedule.

How to Search for Available Test Centers

Finding a test center is easy and part of the registration process. You’ll be able to view all available locations and time slots once you’ve selected your test and are ready to schedule it.

Step 1: Sign In or Create Your Praxis Account

Go to praxis.ets.org and log in to your ETS account. If you don’t have an account yet, you can create one in just a few minutes.


Step 2: Select Your Test

Once signed in, begin the registration process by selecting the Praxis test you plan to take based on your licensure area and state requirements.


Step 3: Go to the Schedule Page in the checkout flow and Choose “Test Center” Option

You’ll be asked how you want to take the test. Select “Test Center” to proceed with searching for physical test locations.


Step 4: Enter Your Preferred Location

On the scheduling screen, you can search by city, ZIP code, or state to view a list of available test centers near you.


Step 5: View Available Dates & Time Slots

The system will display available appointment dates and times at your selected test centers. You can choose the one that best fits your schedule.


Step 6: Confirm & Complete Registration

Once you’ve selected a date and time, proceed to payment to finalize your registration. A confirmation email with your test center details will be sent to you.

You won’t be able to browse test center locations or dates without logging in and starting the registration process. This ensures that the availability shown is specific to your selected test and location.
