Disability accommodations

  • ETS is committed to providing testing accommodations for candidates with documented disabilities or health-related needs. Learn more about Disability Accommodations.


Extended test time for test takers whose primary language isn’t English (PLNE).

More information is found in the Praxis Information Bulletin. ETS requires that test takers submit:

  • Certification of Documentation: This form must be completed by a qualified professional (ESL teacher, foreign language department head, etc.) who attests to the fact that the test taker’s primary language is not English (page 38)
  • Eligibility Form: This form must be completed by the test taker (page 39)
  • Test Authorization Voucher Request Form: This form is also completed by the test taker and provides ETS with key information needed to fulfill the request (e.g., the test taker’s identifying information and the tests needed) (page 34)
