At the end of June, the ETS Praxis team joined more than 3,000 future educators in Orlando for the 2025 Educators Rising National Conference. The event brought together high school and college students exploring careers in education and gave them the chance to grow their skills, compete in teaching-focused events, and connect with peers and mentors. 

Hosted by Educators Rising, a division of PDK International, the conference plays a key role in preparing the next generation of teachers. This year, we were excited to contribute in a hands-on way by helping students take Praxis exams onsite through a pop-up test center at the conference.

Breaking Down Barriers to Certification 

Throughout the conference, ETS Praxis offered an on-site testing experience where students could take one of three credentialing exams: 

• ParaPro Assessment 
• Praxis Core Math 
• Praxis Core Reading 

In total, 45 students completed their exams on site. This removed the need to travel to a test center or wait weeks for an appointment. Instead, students were able to take the next step in their certification journey right in the middle of an event designed to inspire their future in education. 

“Onsite testing provides our rising educators with a meaningful opportunity to earn nationally recognized credentials,” said Robyn Mintier, Director of Membership at Educators Rising. “It affirms the skills they’ve gained through the program and helps them get ahead on their path to a successful career in education.” 

Meeting Future Educators Where They Are 

Events like Educators Rising show what is possible when access and opportunity come together. By bringing testing directly to students at the time and place where they are most engaged, we help reduce stress, remove barriers, and open doors. 

This on-site experience was part of ETS Praxis’s Testing Support Services, a flexible solution designed to remove barriers in the testing process. Whether through pop-up test centers, custom scheduling, or targeted preparation resources, Testing Support Services helps educators meet certification requirements with less friction and more support.
