Since launching in early 2024, the Praxis and Study.com partnership has continued to expand, tackling the evolving challenges of teacher preparation with innovative, research-backed solutions.

A Shared Mission to Support Future Teachers

In February 2024, ETS’s Praxis program and Study.com joined forces to address a growing need: helping more aspiring educators, especially those facing systemic barriers, enter the profession with confidence. The collaboration began with a focus on accessibility—offering free and affordable prep for the Praxis tests.

From Free Prep to Innovative Solutions

What started with Praxis test preparation quickly grew into a suite of tools and services. Through this partnership, test takers can now access free Praxis Core prep via Study.com’s structured video-based platform complete with targeted skills practice, and diagnostic tools. Study.com’s resources have also recently expanded to include support for the ParaPro Assessment and are now integrated into the new Praxis Bridge program—an innovative solution that allows near-miss candidates to take a learning module instead of retaking the Praxis Core test.

Data-Informed, Research-Driven

What sets this partnership apart is a strong foundation in data and research. Studies conducted throughout 2024 and into 2025 continue to show that using Study.com’s prep tools is positively related to testing performance. The collaboration is guided by insights into learner behavior, equity challenges, and test-taking outcomes—ensuring that future solutions are built on evidence, not assumptions.

Looking Ahead

The Praxis + Study.com collaboration is far from static. The long-term goal is clear: create an ecosystem where aspiring teachers can access the resources they need to succeed, regardless of background or starting point. With more educators facing time, financial, and academic hurdles, the continued evolution of this partnership offers a promising path forward.
