Important notice:
The Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE) accepts score reports from ETS directly, via TNCompass. Educators MUST provide their full social security number and designate TDOE (code 8190) as a recipient. Please note that if you did not designate 8190 as the score recipient code and provide your full social security number, the scores will not report to TNCompass and will need to be resent with corrections, which may involve an additional reporting fee. Score reports sent by educators are not accepted.

Principles of Learning and Teaching
A pedagogical knowledge assessment may be required for individuals applying through an out-of-state pathway on the basis of completion of an approved out-of-state educator preparation program, as well as for occupational licensure applicants. Please review the Tennessee State Board of Education Policy 5.105: Professional Assessments for Tennessee Educators to determine the assessment requirements for the licensure and endorsement area sought.
