The Numbers and Operations (8301) Step is one section of the Elementary Education Fundamentals: Mathematics (8003) test. This Step consists of approximately 28 selected response questions. (It may contain some questions that do not count toward your score.)

• When you schedule your Step, you can select up to four free score recipients. If you are taking individual Steps, you must select the same score recipients for each Step. If you update your recipients for one Step, they will be updated for any other Steps in that test that have not yet been reported.
• When you get your Step results, you can find out if you passed that Step for any score recipients selected at registration.
• After you complete all Steps in the test, you and your designated score recipients will receive an official score report.
• If you have already completed the test and are retaking an individual Step, you will receive an updated score report including your most recent and highest Step results.
