Eligibility
Giveaway is offered and open only to entrants 18 years or older (except in Alabama, Nebraska and Mississippi where entrants must be 19 years or older) as of the date of entry who reside in the contiguous United States. All Giveaway entries must be received by 12:00 AM EST on August 30, 2024. The Giveaway is sponsored by and prize provided by Study.com and Educational Testing Service (ETS), the latter of which is located at Rosedale Road, Princeton, New Jersey 08541. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta or LinkedIn.
How to Enter
Entrants must follow all the steps delineated in the Giveaway to submit a valid entry through an approved ETS Praxis email submission and then must follow all the directions in the Giveaway. Each entrant shall enter the competition via Facebook or LinkedIn by submitting their email address through an approved ETS Praxis email-submission portal. By entering the Giveaway, you consent to ETS collecting and using your contact information for the purposes of the Giveaway and for other marketing purposes. Entries generated by a script, macro, bot, or other automated means, except as described in the Giveaway will be disqualified. No photocopied or mechanically reproduced entries will be accepted. ETS is not responsible for late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, or unintelligible entries. Incomplete, illegible or corrupted entries are void and will not be accepted. All entries become ETS property and will not be acknowledged or returned.
Prize(s)
No purchase necessary. One (1) winner will be selected at random for the Giveaway. Giveaway winners will receive a notification on or about September 3, 2024. The winner will receive the prize noted in the Giveaway or an equivalent prize selected by ETS Praxis. No alternative prize, cash equivalent, or other substitution is permitted, except by ETS Praxis in the event of prize unavailability. ETS Praxis reserves the right to substitute a similar prize of equal or greater value in its sole discretion. Prizes are nontransferable, nonnegotiable, and nonrefundable. All federal, state, and/or local taxes, and other expenses associated with the acceptance and use of any prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. THE PRIZE IS PROVIDED "AS IS," AND ETS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WITH RESPECT THERETO, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. ETS employees are not eligible to participate.
Winner(s)
The Winner(s) will be determined by random drawing from all eligible entries received, to be conducted by ETS Praxis at the conclusion of the entry period. All entries must be received by 12:00 AM EST on August 30, 2024. Winner(s) will be notified via email and will need to provide their full name, address, and/or email address within the time specified in the notification. Odds of winning depend on total number of entries received. In order to claim the prize, the winner may be required to complete an affidavit or declaration of eligibility and/or liability and publicity release which must be signed and returned within the time specified on the notification; otherwise, an alternate winner will be selected at random. Winner(s) of the Giveaway shall consent to their name and social-media username or handle to be posted on ETS Praxis’s social-media profiles on Meta, LinkedIn, or the like.
Conduct
By entering this Giveaway, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and Regulations (“The Rules”). All decisions in regard to the Giveaway are final and binding in all respects. ETS Praxis reserves the right at its discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or to be acting in violation of the Official Rules; or to be acting in a disruptive manner; or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A CONTESTANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE GIVEAWAY IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS; AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, ETS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH CONTESTANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
General Terms and Conditions
By participating, entrants agree that ETS, its shareholders, agents and representatives, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors are not responsible or liable for, and shall be released and held harmless from: (i) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet, any technical, computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties, or human error, of any kind; (ii) any condition caused by events beyond the control of ETS Praxis that may cause the Giveaway to be disrupted or corrupted, including theft, destruction or alteration of entries or website tampering; (iii) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Giveaway; (iv) any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with or resulting from participation in the Giveaway, acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, misrepresentation, defamation, or invasion of privacy. ETS Praxis reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or cancel the Giveaway at any time if a computer virus, bug, or other technical or procedural problem impairs or corrupts the administration, security, or proper conduct of the Giveaway. Meta and LinkedIn are not involved or affiliated with the Giveaway. Other legal terms and conditions may apply, and Giveaway may be void where prohibited.
